Vitiligo + Lipbluh

The paramedical world of tattooing is something to be admired. In this post I want to dive deep into Vitiligo and how lip blush will camouflage and conceal the hypo-pigmented places on your lips.

You need to know if your lip vitiligo is active or stable. If it’s in an active phase, there is a possibility it will lead to more spots due to koebnerization. It is extremely rare, but you need to be aware of that risk. Typically when you have started to develop Vitiligo, it’s active in the first year and then lays dormant. Always consult with your dermatologist if you are concerned about the risk of koebnerization.

The melanin disruption in your skin will need to be retouched more than a typical PMU service. As we do not know if your autoimmune disorder will continue to go in and out of active phases. Regardless, paramedical lipblush is a wonderful option for you to feel confident and comfortable in your skin.

In your service we will blend the natural color of your lips with the hypopigmentation and after that we can add a pop of color that you want to bring a beautiful desired result come to life. Our pharmaceutical grade pigments are extremely long lasting and are of the purest quality!

Micropigmentation with our nano techniques keep the trauma to the skin at a minimum. There is no bleeding, and all of our clients forgo numbing because of how painless it is.

Always make sure to follow before and after care proceedures required by your artist. Stay away from caffeine, NSAID’s, blood thinners, and alcohol at least twenty four hours before your appointment. You can expect some swelling for the first twenty four hours and during the first forty eight, you will be at your darkest color overall. Over the next three weeks your color will lighten about 30% and on day 28, you will be left with the shade you and your artist chose.
